This depends on what type of session you are requesting. Prices are shown on the pages pertaining to our offerings.

Generally we offer individual sessions, or cater for groups of 10-12 people. If you are interested in 2 or 3 persons in a group, please talk to us.

You do not need any experience with horses. No riding is involved and we keep you informed of safety and precautions at all times. We always put safety first and can accommodate everyone's different comfort levels around the horses. If you are scared we will work with you. This is an opportunity to overcome your fears or preconceived notions. To date, everyone who has come to Eureka Horse Wisdom scared or tentative has left loving the horse(s) they've worked with.

Most of our work is ground-based, ie out of the saddle. You work alongside the horses which provides the best and truest reactions of the horses, and offers the most beneficial learning for you. This way horses can be their true selves. We strive for Partnerships rather than dominance based relationship. We do offer walking trail rides on horseback for experience female riders in the adjacent State Forest.

Yes! Soo Woods is certified and qualified as a Counsellor as well as with several different Equine Experiential/Assisted Learning organisations. She is also trained in trauma-informed alternative modalities, including somatic therapy 'Embodied Processing', and is a Reiki Practitioner. Eureka Horse Wisdom has extensive insurance for those who attend our programs. Soo is professional, experienced, insured, Working with children & police checked. She also ensures her first aid and mental health first aid qualifications are maintained and up to date.
